Flag Expedition ends early
After 3 weeks and over 200 miles, Ken Campbell's attempt at a winter circumnavigation of Vancouver Island ended in Sayward, a small town in Johnstone Strait. Because of a tear in his left rotator cuff that made paddling painful and raised significant safety concerns, Ken made the decision to conclude the trip at that point rather than continue. You can read about the journey and see some of the photos he took along the way by going to the Azimuth Expeditions website.

Where in the world?
Field Reports are being added to the Azimuth web site on a regular basis so if you haven't checked them out lately, take a look at what's new and exciting when you get the chance. For information on where to go and what to do when you get there, you can't beat it. And remember, if you go somewhere cool, we'd like to hear about it. Write a Field Report of your own, send it in, and you could win a fabulous prize! |
