In addition to the class schedule, we manage to get involved in other adventure-related events on a regular basis. Kayak'n'Klean Paddles are a great opportunity to seek out new paddling locations and give back to the natural world around us. A variety of slide presentations and free clinics are offered throughout the year, and this is the perfect place to learn about kayaking club activities in the Puget Sound area. There are also several different sea kayak symposia in the western US (and elsewhere), so we try to keep the information current on these valuable gatherings as well.

Sea Kayaking and Shorebirds, Nisqually Delta
One of the most intriguing and beautiful paddling locations in all of Puget Sound, this wildlife-rich area is perfect for kayakers of all abilities. This paddle focuses on the intertidal area, and the variety of birds that can be found along the shore and in the marshes. Trained naturalists will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on the area's ecology. (Cost is $40 per person, which does not include kayaking equipment.
